Information we collect
Newsletter signups: When you subscribe to our newsletter, we may collect your first name, last name, email address, IP address, and information needed to manage your subscription.
Communications: If you email or call us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, contact details, gift-card request, event or catering information, and message.
Comments: If comments are enabled and you leave one, WordPress may collect the information entered in the comment form, your IP address, and browser information to assist with spam detection. An anonymized version of your email address may be sent to Gravatar to determine whether you use that service.
Technical information: Our website and hosting systems may automatically record information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring page, and the date and time of your visit for security, troubleshooting, and site operation.

Reservations, takeout, and external services
Reservation links direct you to Resy, and online takeout links direct you to Clover. Those companies operate their own websites and process information under their own privacy policies. Nick’s German Kitchen does not control their privacy practices.
Gift cards and payments
Physical gift cards may be requested by email. We may collect the requested amount, recipient’s mailing address, personal message, and purchaser’s contact information. Payment is completed through a secure external payment link. We do not ask you to email payment-card details, and our website does not directly store complete payment-card information.
Embedded content and external links
Pages may contain content or links from other websites, including social networks, reservation services, ordering services, maps, or video providers. Those services may collect information, use cookies, or track your interaction according to their own policies.
